The Honda CR-V has always been a popular compact SUV among American car buyers. Its compact design gives it a car-like performance while its interior and luggage capacity is remarkably like that of an SUV.
The Honda CR-V is a good choice over a crossover utility vehicle or even a sedan if versatility is what consumers are looking for. And for the 2007 model year, Honda made the compact SUV even better.
Outside, the 2007 Honda CR-V looks even smaller than it really is. Its aerodynamic styling makes it look like a version of the Acura MDX. Aside from that, the original good points of the sport utility vehicle are also present. Honda made the latest version of the Honda CR-V shorter than its predecessor while at the same time sharing the same length of the wheelbase. This makes the new CR-V even smaller and better to handle.
Another improvement on the Honda CR-V is the new engine which produces 166 horsepower and this is ten more than its predecessor. The tires are also changed thus giving the 2007 CR-V 17-inch wheels. This makes the Honda CR-V look even better than a vehicle with a Nissan fender.
Features available for trim packages of the 2007 CR-V include a power sunroof which is a good bet for car buyers who want to open up their roofs and let the sunshine in. The entertainment system is an AM/FM radio with an in-dash six-CD changer and an MP3 player which will please music loving road bound motorists.
For those who want better handling and security, an all-wheel drive configuration is available. The all-wheel drive gives the Honda CR-V a better handling and traction which gives it good off-road driving capability. The four-cylinder engine of the new CR-V is quiet compared to the previous engine used for the CR-V. The 166 horsepower is deemed by auto experts adequate to power the more than 3,500 pounds bulk of the vehicle.
Other good points for the 2007 Honda CR-V are the interior space and its excellent handling. Both these attributes are due to the smaller design of the vehicle. Since it is not very wide or very tall for an SUV, it has the handling capability that one can commonly find in a sedan. While the dimensions of the vehicle are less than that of the past generation, it offers adequate interior room. The cockpit provides good legroom and headspace even for tall drivers. The vehicle has a relatively low center hump which gives good legroom for rear passengers.
Even with its small appearance, it can comfortably seat a grown-up in the second row unlike most SUVs. This second row of seats can be completely folded down to increase cargo capacity to 72.9 cubic feet. With the seat in place, the CR-V still offers adequate luggage capacity of 35.6 cubic feet.
All in all, Honda did a good job on the redesign of the newest generation of the CR-V.

The Honda CR-V is a vehicle that has already been in the automotive industry since the year 1996. This year could be considered as its tenth year in the industry. This vehicle is a compact crossover sport utility vehicle and it has been built in only one body style which is the sport utility vehicle that holds five doors. The Mazda Cx-7, Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4, and the Mitsubishi Outlander are the vehicles that can be considered as the tough contenders of the Honda CR-V in the race to the top.

Honda Los Angeles - An Honest Review of the Honda 2007 CR-V
Honda... Los Angeles, the two go together like the Hollywood and fancy restaurants. As well they should. If you’re looking for a Honda, Los Angeles, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, you’ll get an honest review of the Honda Los Angeles 2007
CR-V.
Honda Los Angeles – Honda 2007 CR-V – The Outside
The first thing you will notice as you check out the 2007 Honda CR-V is its completely revamped exterior. The style lines have been softened and the outline of this compact-SUV is completely different than the 2006 model. It would appear that Honda has responded to the American consumer’s desire for a more sleek, not boxy, SUV. I really appreciated the changes. This model just looks better going down the road than last year’s model.
The hood of the 2007 is gently rounded and from the windshield back, the roofline drops just slightly as it passes over the glass area. The wheel wells are lsightly extended and filled with rubber. The tire print from this SUV, is fairly beefy and gives it a squat, yet powerful look.
From the newly designed front bumper – pseudo skidplate to the trademark CR-V taillights which sit top a high-relief tailgate panel, this CR-V screams style and ease. Your eyes are naturally drawn to the strong character line which runs from the top of the front wheel well to the middle of the side marker lens of the rear taillight. I like how this car looks. But what about the inside?
Honda Los Angeles – Honda 2007 CR-V – The Inside
As are most things which bear the Honda badge, the interior of the 2007 CR-V focuses on the functional. All gauges and lights on the instrument panel are easily seen and while sitting in the driver’s seat, everything is within easy reach. The overall look of the dashboard is classic Honda. Overall quality and fit easily meets the standard that Honda has already established in year’s past. The fabric upholstery of the model we drove seems durable and was comfortable as well. The EX-L model would have the upgraded leather as a standard option.
Though just average in height, I still felt that the slight increase in front seat height and wider backs was a nice change for the 2007 model. The side bolsters appear to be fairly functional in keeping the driver in his seat. The bottom bolster were created more for ease of entry than for functionality, though to be honest with you, most people won’t be trying to pull too many G’s while making turns in this Honda.
The rear seats seem a little too contoured, but perhaps this was allowed to increase the functionality of the rear seat folding options. This was a feature that I really appreciated. The rear seat bottoms breaks down 60/40 with the longer piece being on the right. The rear seat backs, however, divide 40/20/40 into three sections, allowing you a myriad of choices and options when trying to arrange luggage or groceries.
Overall, the exterior and interior changes made to the 2007 Honda CR-V were very welcome. The outside looks great and the inside is comfortable and functional. Our next honest review will look at what’s under the hood and how well the 2007 Honda CR-V drives.

The Niche The Honda CR-V Has
In over 160 countries spread all across the globe, the Honda CR-V is being sold and marketed. And in most of these markets, the Honda CR-V has already gained much fame and reputation as a vehicle that just takes on the challenge and works out real fine.
The version of the 2007 Honda CR-V is actually all part of the vehicle’s third generation. And it looks like there is no stopping the changes and the type of features that this vehicle is going to have. The engineers straight right out of the plants and facilities of the company do make sure that the vehicle holds the most capable Honda auto parts to outfit the vehicle and the performance driven engines that they could create. After all, the Honda CR-V is the brand’s compact sport utility vehicle that reaps in more sales for the company.
What would also be new for 2007 is that the Honda CR-V would now be coming in two variations. One would be the popular SUV type of vehicle. The other one, the new one, would be just like the usual however this one would be coming as a two wheel drive. Plus, the 2007 version would be coming with a total redesign. Plus, with a new sheet metal, the Honda CR-V would be coming with an even better drag coefficient. Its exterior has also been changed for you can notice the new and rounder shape. You would also see that the front end has gotten quite sharper and the headlamps have been made to be profiled.
But these are not the only things you would find quite desirable with the new Honda CR-V. If previous models had a rear door that opened at the side, you would now find that such a feature has been deleted. In its place, a liftgate was installed. Mitsuru Horikoshi is the head engine of Honda and on the changes done to the Honda CR-V, he says, “Such a decision wasn’t easy. The old rear door was also used to support the spare tire. So, we had to integrate it and we chose to place in the trunk, which allowed us to install the new liftgate.”

Protect Your Family in a Honda CRV
There are about 3 million minor injuries, 2 million permanent injuries, and almost 40,000 deaths in the United States each year caused by car-related accidents. Car accidents are one of the most common sources of injury. Even the most minor fender-benders can cause severe injury and permanent disability, not to mention insurance rate hikes and other expensive inconveniences. Severe auto accidents resulting in critical injuries and death are tragedies for everyone involved. Nothing is more devastating and unexpected then a car accident.
Despite your greatest efforts to drive cautiously and safe, you are always at the mercy of other drivers as soon as you pull out of the driveway. For this reason it is important that your vehicle provides full protection, from the inside and out. It is evident that the Honda CRV is built with your family’s safety in mind. With its solid steel exterior and exceptional driving capabilities, you can stop worrying about your own safety and start concentrating on other drivers on the road.
Solid Exterior Build
The Honda CRV’s sturdy framework is designed to provide greater safety in collisions with larger vehicles because of its unbeatable strength and durability. The frame is built with high-tensile steel and uses extensive cross-bracing and stiffening members in key areas of its frame. This build will help to absorb and disperse collision energy over a larger area. The Honda CRV is also designed to withstand high levels of resistance in key areas for further protection.
• Side-Impact Door Beams. The dual side-impact door beams provide protection to the passengers during a side impact. They are made of high-tensile steel and absorb the energy of the impact.
• Front & Rear Crash Zones. The front and rear crash zones provide all passengers with further protection during front and rear collisions. They, too, are made of high-tensile steel which will absorb the impact.
In addition to providing solid protection, the steel framework also reduces vibration and the noise level, leaving you with a smoother and more comfortable ride during all your road trips.
Driving Capabilities
Nothing is scarier for a driver than suddenly loosing control of the vehicle due to elements on the road. With these key driving features, also found in the Honda Odyssey, you no longer have to worry about driving in the rain or snow.
• Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).The anti-lock braking system (ABS) is used in the Honda CRV to give the driver greater steering control of the vehicle. The ABS uses a special modulator to pulse the brakes, preventing the wheels from locking up. This feature helps the driver maintain steering control when braking hard. The Electronic Brake Distribution system (EBD) also enhances this feature by balancing both the front and rear braking forces.
• Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA).The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is a sophisticated safety device that aids the driver in retaining control of the vehicle if any amount of side slippage is detected. This system controls sudden changes in the vehicles behavior, allowing the driver time to take control of the situation. For instance, when the driver is driving around corner or has to make a sudden maneuver, the VSA system will automatically engage if detects any loss of traction and stabilize the vehicle.
It’s impossible to control other drivers on the road, but choosing a sturdy and dependable vehicle for your family is possible and extremely important for their safety. It’s up to you to take the proper steps that will lessen the consequences and seriousness of car accidents, should they occur. It’s always easier to prevent than to repair.

Honda CRV
When it comes to the compact sport utility vehicle class, the competition is as fierce as ever before. People who want a SUV are buying compact because the gas mileage that they offer is better than larger options. And if you are in the market for a compact SUV, the Honda CRV is one of the best choices that you can make. Not only does the Honda CRV have a great on road feel, but it is capable of tackling bad weather as well thanks to a sophisticated four wheel drive system.
The current Honda CRV model has been around for several years and is due to get redesigned in the near future. But Honda may be holding off on this due in part to the fact that the current CRV is selling as good as ever before. It offers a more than capable four cylinder engine that comes along with acceptable gas mileage for a SUV.
If you are buying a new Honda CRV you will have the ability to equip it with leather interior; something that was not offered in the past. This makes the Honda CRV more versatile than ever before. And of course the leather seats go along with a well laid out interior.
Overall, the Honda CRV does have a lot of competition from other models in the class. But with that being said it is holding its own without any problems. When the new Honda CRV finally hits the market it is safe to say that it will also be among the most popular.
